We stayed 2 nights over Christmas. Service is excellent. Friendly, prompt, efficient. Rooms spotless. Beds very comfortable. Hotel has an old world elegance. Location very convenient in downtown Vancouver. Highly recommend
Fabulous on all levels, from central downtown location to room comfort & cleanliness, to service. The manager was very personable and kind, and all staff were friendly and welcoming. Room exceeded expectation; we’d definitely stay again.
Hotel Le Soleil enjoys a fantastic location, perfect for exploring the city on foot. The interior has a classic charm with nicely decorated hallways, and our room was clean and comfortable. While nothing felt particularly outstanding beyond the location, the thoughtful touches — like bathrobes and tea provided in the room — added to the experience. A pleasant stay with convenience at its core.
Booked a 6 night stay and sad to say tonight is our last night. Staff are excellent we were always greeted with a smile. Housekeeping wonderful our room was kept immaculate and no shortage of towels tea coffee and water. Turn down service a lovely little treat to come back to with chocolate on our pillows. I would easily give a 5 for a couple of minor things. The bathroom fan sounds like an airplane, the coffee maker is in the perfect spot, but the cord doesn't reach the plug, the wardrobe cabinet is awkward to open and the wallpaper is showing its age, but that can be overlooked as the room layout (corner room) is amazing. Great tech plug availability. The bathroom counter space is huge and overall great style to the room!
This hotel is a 10/10! My partner and I decided to have a staycation in the city to celebrate our anniversary and we're so glad we chose to stay here. The service from the staff was above and beyond and our room was stunning and spacious, something you don't often get anymore with hotels. In a sea of options to choose from in Vancouver, this is one you won't want to overlook. We will absolutely be staying here again!
Stayed here for a 2 parts of our honeymoon and they were exceptional, the staff was incredible and so nice. They had a congratulations bottle of Champagne when we first arrived to the hotel. The next time we arrived they upgraded our room for a truly incredible experience! I have never been so impressed by a hotel! Thank you for making our honeymoon special!
We recently attended a family reunion and stayed in the Queen Suite at Le Soleil. We had the best time and the boutique hotel is lovely. My granddaughter especially bonded with the sommelier from the restaurant Alouette. Thank you for making our stay so memorable and one of the highlights to our summer!
Hotel Le Soleil is a decent hotel in a very central location, with easy access to many places including Canada Place, the Convention Centre, and the harbour. The atmosphere is quiet, and check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. That said, the hotel feels slightly outdated. Parking is expensive ($48/night), and on one night the parking was oversold—despite having paid for parking, there was no spot available for my car, which was frustrating. Breakfast was included, but the menu had very limited options and was the same every day; when we asked, the waitress mentioned it had not changed in the three years she had worked there. The mattresses are quite firm, which did not bother me, but my wife found them uncomfortable. Overall, a reasonable stay mainly due to the location and staff, with some clear areas for improvement.
We arrived in Vancouver on a rainy day and were instantly brightened by the warm welcome at Hotel LeSoleil. To our surprise, the front desk informed us that we’d been chosen as the Guest of the Day and upgraded to one of the penthouse suites — what an amazing start to our stay! The suite was absolutely beautiful — elegant, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The hotel itself is stunning, with a boutique charm and a luxurious feel throughout. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and professional, making us feel truly valued. We were very impressed and can’t wait to stay here again. Highly recommend Hotel LeSoleil to anyone visiting Vancouver!
